You've heard of the "dog days of summer", right? I have dubbed these recent days as the "turtle days of spring". I love spring, but it seems to be dragging along at a turtle's pace.
Just moments ago I've heard on the news that today is the first day of summer.... in climatological terms. Not based on calendar though, we have to wait for a while for that. :) Cute turtle, btw!

I think somebody needs to get that climatological stuff and the calendar aligned. It's much too confusing as it is now. :)
