There was a much better overhead view from the camera that can be seen in the photo, but a storm zapped it. The folks at Alcoa set up a second camera for the viewing audience to be able to continue watching the babies' maturing and nest activities.
The back of this eagle postcard from my collection states: "The American Bald Eagle, our national bird, is the only eagle unique to North America. At one time, the word "bald" meant "white", not hairless. American Bald Eagles are found throughout most of North America, from Alaska and Canada to northern Mexico.

I am in the process of making a postcard right now with a picture I drew of a bald eagle with a little poem I wrote: (Only we call them Grandpa Eagles)

Baby eagles!! Very cool.
There were a couple of bald eagles near where we used to live. Every so often we would see them fly by looking for lunch in the field by our place. It never got old to see them in the sky. We got excited every time!
Anyway, thanks for the heads up on these cameras!

I would be thrilled to spot a bald eagle, or two, someday. I just hope I have a camera in my hand if it ever happens.
