I've never been to New Orleans, but I always envisioned it a bit more crowded than this postcard shows. Must be the only pictures I see of the city is during Mardi Gras?
You're right, it IS more crowded. I'm pretty sure the crowd was partying it up right behind the photographer while he took this photo. :)
The live jazz and blues bands in the French Quarter are fun to listen to, but for everyday music listening, I like smooth jazz, rather than traditional jazz.
