Happy 130th Anniversary, Ms. Statue of Liberty!

130 years ago today yesterday, (June 17, 1885) the Statue of Liberty arrived in New York harbor...in pieces.

She was slowly and painstakingly assembled, and finally dedicated on October 28, 1886.

Thank you, France!

She was open to any kind of card, but said she hoped to see the beauties of the country.  I'd say the Statue of Liberty is definitely one of the beauties of the USA.
