Outgoing Peace, Love and Michigan Postcard
US-2080788
There wasn't a whole lot to work with on Olesya's profile, so I chose a colorful, fun card for her and sent it on its way to Russia.
I forgot to scan the backside with stamps. So, feel free to use your imagination as to what stamps I used. :)

Outgoing Hell, Michigan Postcard
This is the brand new, in-perfect-condition postcard that I picked out to send to Nives in Croatia.
This is what it looked like after it went through Hell and was delivered to her! It had a burn mark on it. Ha ha!
It had some really fun postmarks on it, too. Check out her postcard blog to see them.

Autumn Has Arrived!
Spotted these happy hay bales in Armada, Michigan.
(I'm pretty sure this one here is a male hay bale.)
If only they had legs, they'd be jumping for joy that today is the first day of Autumn!

Ford Field, Detroit, Michigan
On a recent trip to Detroit, I headed to Ford Field to take some pictures and maybe find some stadium postcards. There it is...I see it...just beyond the....marching band?!
For some strange reason, marching bands have the right of way.
This is as close as I could get, because of blocked streets and heavy traffic. I gave up on my Ford Field excursion.
I, then, sort of became part of the marching band procession. It was fun, sort of.
Until they made a left turn, and I kept going straight.
I settled for a picture of this funky highway overpass.
And this really, really, really big tire.
Then, I drove back home to Illinois.

35 down, 15 to go!
This 2nd welcome sign is just a minute or two down the road from the first sign....just in case you forgot what state you crossed into, I guess.
All 2010 State Welcome Signs, so far.
