Even if this funky cigar-smokin' junk yard dog art piece on display at a San Antonio salvage yard doesn't impress you, Bob "Daddy-O" Wade's credentials will.

Another Random VT Sighting: Giant Dog

Another one of those "what is that?!" moments.

I didn't know Vermont was known for giant dogs, but there s/he was.... Bigger than a car.... Lounging in the snow. What a fun sighting!

I get a big kick out of funny cartoon postcards. There's nothing better than standing at the mailbox laughing like a hyena for neighbors and passersby to see. :D

Denise in Georgia knows I have 7 dogs at home, so she sent this knee-slapper my way. I told her this is EXACTLY why I do not let dogs lick my face!

Well, they are new to me since I had never met them before. :)

These 3 cuties were staying at the same Texas hotel, as I.  It's really enjoyable seeing so many other travelers with their faithful companions.

Astrid in the Netherlands listed cats/dogs on her profile wish list. I'm a big dog lover myself, so I jumped on it and sent this trio of cuties on its way.

She also requested "traditional stamps". I wasn't quite sure how to interpret that, but turns out that she liked the stamps that I used. That's always nice to know!

This cute card was a surprise when it arrived from Diana in Bulgaria, I wasn't expecting any officials. No wonder. It was dated January 8, and arrived March 1 .....57 days!

Diana also sent a 2nd bonus card! How nice was that?!  It's a funky deer head....I guess?

It's pretty cool when you can dig into the internet and find out more about the artist behind the art.

At first glance, this looks like an actual Polaroid photograph. But, it's actually a nice little doggy postcard from yi-jhen in Taiwan. And I DO mean little. It measures only 4 1/4" x 3 1/2"!  Love it.

Spotted this sight recently in Texas.
Anytime that I see a dog riding in the back of a truck, I cringe, and say a prayer....for the safety of the dog, and for the owner/driver to stop endangering the dog's life in this manner.

Belgium Puppies Postcard

These sweet, little pups came from Iris in Belgium.
It's only my 2nd card ever from that country, so that was a treat. And, of course, being a dog lover all my life, a puppy or dog card always touches a special place in my heart.
