Graceland, Home of Elvis Presley - Part 2

The famous gates of Graceland as they look today.

Two postcards featuring the gates.
I like this one here with Elvis actually in the picture.

I Love Lucy, Part 1

I recently visited the hometown Lucille Ball in Jamestown, New York. So, I have some cool goodies to share!

First off, there are several great murals scattered about town, all related to the "I Love Lucy" tv show (1951-1957).

This one here is wonderfully gigantic. It's in full color (even though the show itself was in black & white), and features a scene from the 1955 "California, Here We Come" episode.

Here is a black-and-white postcard of the same scene for comparison. Pretty good reproduction!

That's all for today. Happy November!

I Heart Elvis Postcard

 I love this guy.
Thanks for your help, you sexy beast!

Dolly Parton Postcard

Big, big, BIG thanks to Denise for sending this lovely card. It brightened my day and put a big, big, BIG smile on my
big-big-BIG-fan-of-Dolly-Parton face. :)

Harry Potter stamp. I'm guessing that Harry is a big, big, BIG Dolly fan, too!
