Scenes From Texas Trips, Part 1

I've had a few trips to various places in Texas recently. Here are some random pictures, in no particular order...

Bikers at a Waffle House.

Getting unstuck from mud hole.

Prickly pear cactus.

Bright yellow pick up truck.

Dolphin house.

Dog walkers on the beach.

Aw Shucks Oyster Bar.

Hand painted, ready-to-mail coconuts.

Cool black car.

You're welcome! Be sure to post about it. I want to see what you come up with :)

Well, now we all want to hear about the mud hole incident.

Cari, first off, my least favorite son is exaggerating. He thinks things are funny that really aren't all that funny. :) Basically, it just had to do with middle-of-the-night vehicle maneuvering into mud hole masquerading as perfectly firm ground. Which led to cursing at mud hole. Which led to good samaritan gunning engine while O'Neal pushed. Which led to O'Neal splattered with mud that had just prior to that been in the mud hole. Which led to tow truck the next morning. See? It's not all that funny. :)

I think your son is the winner on this story. Hee, heee, hee!

Oh, and, double OUCH that you got plastered in mud then still had to call a tow truck... Just saying...

Dear BB,
You always tell me Josh is your favorite Son ; ) And I'm with Josh about laughing about the incident, I say that with love) : ) You forgot the part about the tow truck driver having to eat breakfast before he helped you, lol. And since you adore me I do expect one of those coconuts next time you go back.
Love

Dear GG,
Josh can go from favorite to least favorite in the blink of an eye. But most of the time, he's tied with his brother :)

Yeah, I forgot that part about the driver having to eat first. He said he had been working since midnight. And you never get between a man and his waffles, you know!

Be careful what you wish for. I'll do it, you know I will! The mail lady is really, really going to not like you if coconuts start showing up. LOL
Love, BB

Dear BB,
You already ruint my relationship with my mail lady when she threw out her back with all the shells and sand. Coconuts will be much lighter, it will give her a break and maybe she will like me again ; ) I'm thinking I am going to cover all the cars in the neighborhood with glue and stick shells all over them, and then add the coconuts on top like a hood ornament. BRILLIANT!!!
Love, GG
