Llamas in Wyoming

Recently, I spotted these two cuties near Gillette, Wyoming. (After consulting Google, I think they are llamas, not alpacas.)

Llamas just aren't that common of a sight, like cows and horses.  I might have come across the only two in the state of Wyoming. How lucky is that?!

Very cool! I wonder what sound llamas make? Do they neigh like horses?

They do look like llamas, for sure. Not that I'm an expert. :) I've heard they spit on people when annoyed. Hope they were nice to you! ;)

Cari: I didn't have time to wait around for them to make llama sounds, but they look like they'd make camel-type sounds to me. :)

Nives: If you and Google say they are llamas, then that's good enough for me! They spit? Really? Ha! I didn't get to find out. It was just a quick point & shoot photo op. :)
