I Love Lucy, Part 3

After viewing the murals around Jamestown, NY, I went to the cemetery where Lucille Ball is buried.

At the main entrance, there were signs instructing visitors to follow the "I Love Lucy" logos on the roadway.

This little pathway led to the gravesite.

A fitting engraving on her large black granite tombstone.

The other side lists the names and dates of all the family members buried there.

There were pennies and other items left on top of the tombstone by visitors and fans.

This sweet, heart-shaped, red-painted rock was resting at the base. It was nice to be able to pay respects to this woman who I did not know personally, but who was admired and loved by millions.

This concludes the tour of Jamestown, New York. :)

TGIF!
