This lovely postcard just flew in from Finland. I love peaceful wintery scenes, in general, but this one is even better because it features not only reindeer, but the Northern Lights, also!

Growing up in Northern Wisconsin we would get amazing views of the northern lights. Sometimes I would stay up and just watch them dance across the sky.
PS - I agree - Finland DOES have the best stamps! Although, our stamps over the last year or so have gotten a bit better. Maybe I just feel that way because of our new Batman stamps. I love the circle ones!
I haven't even seen the new Batman stamps yet. I must go to the PO soon.
OH. MY. GOSH.!! Seeing the Northern Lights is something I REALLY REALLY would love to do!! I recall that you're from Wisconsin. Can you recommend a place, and best time of year, that I might be able to seem them for myself??
