I don't often get to Virginia, but when I do, the search for postcards is ON! Sadly, I only found 2 on a recent VA visit, but they are both beauties!
Snippet from back of card: "Near milepost 176 along the Blue Ridge Parkway is one of the most photographed and painted sights in Virginia, the Mabry Mill...."
Text from card: "In the valley to the west of the Blue Ridge Mtns. flows the Shenandoah River, which treats canoeists, kayakers, fishermen and hikers to the breathtaking views and tranquil sounds of this natural water refuge. This view shows the eroded sediment history of a Shenandoah Valley hillside near Compton, Virginia.
