Corny Mailbox

I think I hurt my neck doing a double-take when I drove past this mailbox near Quincy, Illinois.

A corn stalk mailbox!
Is that cool or what?!

And, a nice little salute to all the farmers responsible for making Illinois the second ranking corn producer in the nation.

Nives: Sadly, countless house dwellers here in the US are satisfied to have boring, bland, plain mailboxes....kinda like me.

Cari: LOL stalking. Good one!

By the way, I always forget when I'm on your blog - if you're ever interested in some postcards from Croatia, let me know - I'd love to send you some / do a swap / whatever. :)

That's so creative! I now want my own standalone mailbox desperately !

Nives: Thanks, I'm definitely interested! I've got a ton of US cards to share, so let's get 'er done :)

Twenty: It really is clever and creative, isn't it? It's one of those "now why didn't I think of that?" kind of things.

Nives: Got it!

Kendra: Cute? It's a mailbox, not a puppy or a kitten :)
