Clarkson Covered Bridge, Cullman, Alabama

This was a nice place to visit while in Alabama, recently. Pretty and peaceful.

Hard to believe that, at this height, it had previously been destroyed by a flood.

No vehicles allowed anymore, but still looks structurally sound enough to do so.

That is one long covered bridge!

A nearby former old mill that appears to have been renovated into a house.

And....GO CARDINALS!
(Boston leads series 1-0)

Fantastic pictures, O'Neal! Thanks for sharing.

I find it hard to believe that NO ONE commented about this awesome covered bridge... besides me. :)

Well somebody would have commented (you know how they feel about bridges) but you threw them out of your life in every way and they are no longer important to you, so guess their comments aren't either. Sigh...

You might be the first person I know to comment on his own post! :) You're so funny!

And you're right, it is a very awesome bridge that was captured beautifully by your amazing photography skills.

Ode to O'Neal and his covered bridge post. Woe to me for failing to acknowledge them in a more prompt manner.
