Rabbit Rabbit Rabbit

So, this has nothing to do with postcards or road trips, and there's only 2 rabbits in the photo instead of 3 as the title suggests, and it's not the first of the month as pertains to what I'm about to say, BUT, read on anyway, if you have a minute to spare. :)

Yesterday, I heard on the radio that there's a superstition that if you say "rabbit rabbit rabbit" first thing in the morning on the first day of the month, you will have good luck for the remainder of the month.

It's now August 2, so this month is gonna be crappy, I guess. But I'm going to try this on September 1st to see how things turn out. :)

Gonna try it too...you never know :D
But should I say rabbit, rabbit, rabbit or konijn, konijn, konijn! (in dutch)(◕‿-)

Gerda, it can't hurt, right?
"Konijn." I learned my first Dutch word. Thanks!
You say "konijn, konijn, konijn", and I'll say "rabbit, rabbit, rabbit". Then we'll compare our luck at the end of September. :)

Aww, what cute rabbits! Have you seen any babies? We've had at least five in our backyard this year.

I'd like to say I'll remember the rabbit-rabbit-rabbit thing, but I'm pretty forgetful in my old age. Maybe you can remind us all again? :)

Cari, yes, I noticed lots of bunny families this year, even extended bunny families, you know, like grandparent bunnies and aunt and uncle bunnies. Crazy!

I forgot AGAIN about the rabbit-rabbit-rabbit thing. Maybe next month.

You are so lucky!! I've never seen a grandparent bunny. Did you recognize them by their reader glasses? Their canes?

Ha, ha, Oneal. :)

Yes, that's exactly how I recognized them. LOL
