Panda Postcard and Native American "Founding Fathers" Postcard

Fresh out of the mailbox! This beautiful panda card is from China.  Karas tagged me in the Fast Favorites tag on Postcrossing's Forum.  It was the first time I tried doing a tag. I liked it!

As my part of the tag, I found that Betty in Austria had this card in her faves, and I happened to have it. So, I tagged her and off it went!

Ok, so the stamps aren't romantic. But, she did say she loved Italian soccer. : )

Smurfs Postcard

Lookit!  The Smurfs! And the Great Wall of China!
This super fun card came from my friend, Twenty, in China. She knows the Great Wall is a favorite of mine, and, well, who doesn't like little blue people?

And she added 2 beautiful scenic stamps that included some of my favorite things: mountains, beaches and animals (grazing deer).

Great Wall Of China Postcard

 This beautiful view of the Great Wall came from my friend, Twenty, in China. She takes great care to pick just the right card for our trades, and always writes lovely messages.  Another thank you coming your way, Twenty!

On the back of the card, this little pooch got splattered with USPS markings, but he still seems pretty perky!

Love this card from Lucinda in Taiwan. The scenery is beautiful, the train appeals to my wanderlust & the kids playing below in the water and waving as the train goes by just makes me smile.
Lucinda also mentioned a 60s John Steinbeck book she had read, titled "Travels with Charley: In Search of America". Charley was John Steinbeck's dog. I read online reviews about it, and now I must get a copy for myself to read!

No clue what kind of bird that is, but its color is stunning. And WHERE the heck do people get "AIR MAIL" stickers? I never see them anywhere!

This card titled "Meat-Eating in the Midwest" is  from Ava in New York. I have it listed on my Postcrossing profile that I'm a vegetarian, so this one had me scratching my head, until I read Ava's note saying that this was the weirdest card she had. (Among my preferences, I have listed that I like cards that are funny, weird or unusual.)  It is, indeed, a weird card! I always appreciate when someone tries to match a preference.

Awesome card from Twentyajax in China. From the note she wrote, they are protected wildlife in China, and it sounds like they will steal food from passersby. Ha! I would like to see that!
