There was a much better overhead view from the camera that can be seen in the photo, but a storm zapped it. The folks at Alcoa set up a second camera for the viewing audience to be able to continue watching the babies' maturing and nest activities.
The back of this eagle postcard from my collection states: "The American Bald Eagle, our national bird, is the only eagle unique to North America. At one time, the word "bald" meant "white", not hairless. American Bald Eagles are found throughout most of North America, from Alaska and Canada to northern Mexico.
