It's been a long time, a REALLY long time, since I've shown off a gorgeous Croatian postcard from Nives. So today, just call me a big show off. :) BECAUSE, I'm happy to say that I have recently received not one, but TWO cards from her!
This first card shows St. Markos Church. The very unusual roof displays Zagreb's coat of arms, and also, Triune Kingdom of Croatia, Slavonia and Dalmatia. The building to the right is where Croatian government meets. Gorgeous card! Second card tomorrow. :)
Stamps, stamps, stamps! Love 'em!
Big thanks, Nives! :)

Country Church
I had a nice drive today, through farmlands and on river roads of Illinois and Missouri. At one point, I spotted this church steeple rising above a corn field and framed nearly perfectly in an opening of a tree line, with thick forest in the background. I didn't need to turn down the road to see the entire church building, just seeing the steeple gave me a peaceful feeling.

Outgoing Loretto Chapel, Santa Fe, NM Postcard
US-1466139
Ceren in Turkey said church was among her preferences. So, I chose this card for her, the Loretto Chapel.
There's an interesting legend regarding the staircase pictured on the postcard.
A smorgasbord of stamps!
