A Woman and Her Tuxedo Dog Postcard
It's catch up time on the ol' blog!
I am so late in posting this delightful card from Gerda. She was thoughtful enough and clever enough to surprise me with a card that has not one, not two, but THREE of my favorite topics... dogs, black and white, and humor. :) I love it!!
Sending tons of thanks your way, Gerda!
Belgian stamp commemorating the 150th anniversary of the International Red Cross. :)

Piano Keys Postcard
I love black and white postcards, and postcards of random things.
FUN FACT: I can't play the piano, but I did once try to learn how to play the banjo. I failed miserably. :)
Happy Sunday!

Birch Trees Postcard
Big thanks to Leonid in Russia for this cool birch trees postcard!
As I was admiring it, I got to wondering if this photo of birch trees is a black and white photo, or is it a color photo?? :)
I'm guessing it's a black and white photo, unless there is black grass in Russia. :)
And...GO CARDINALS!

Made In Brazil Postcard
BR-247312
Fresh out of the mailbox! Marcella in Fortaleza, Brazil, sent this handmade black and white postcard. I like it!
I tried to do a Rorschach ink blot test on myself with this card. My first thought was "bird's eye view of curly-headed people square dancing". Should I be worried?
There's a definite "round" theme happening on both sides of this card.

Outgoing "Judge Each Man By His Actions" Postcard
US-2088473
Regina in Oregon, USA, had listed "peace related cards" as one of her interests. I figured a card featuring 10 people of mixed age, gender and race all sitting together, and all holding up the peace sign was pretty darned peace related, so off it went!
The back of the card simply said "NEW YORK CITY, 1993".
I really don't like to just slap on any random stamps on postcards. Matching stamps to interests, too, is a part of the enjoyment of postcarding for me.
These stamps matched some of her interests, also.

B&W Rovinj, Croatia Postcards
I had just posted about 2 map cards that I sent to Adi in Croatia. Here are the two cards that he sent to me in our swap.
He sent greetings from Rovinj, a small coastal town on the Adriatic Sea. And said that this tram no longer exists.
In this second black and white photo from 1905, Adi said that the small church in the background is no longer there.
Thanks, again, for the swap, Adi!
