It was really nice to spot these two donkeys relaxing outside at a rural Illinois farm on a recent warm, spring day.

I am sooooo dang happy that winter is done and gone and over and finished and past and ended and concluded!!

Turtle Days of Spring

You've heard of the "dog days of summer", right? I have dubbed these recent days as the "turtle days of spring". I love spring, but it seems to be dragging along at a turtle's pace.

Wind-dried Laundy

While in Arcola, Illinois, recently, I spotted this pleasant springtime scene of laundry on the line blowing in the wind in someone's backyard. Nothing beats the smell of fresh air-dried laundry!

Spring Jogging

I was about to snap a picture of the graffiti-covered flood wall in St. Louis, Missouri, when this jogger got in the way.

Moomin In My Mailbox

I found this cute little tree huggin', Spring lovin' Moomin in my mailbox yesterday! I'm almost positive that this is my first Moomin card ever. And it's a furry Moomin, too. If you run your finger over the Moomin, you can feel a soft, velvety texture....Well, YOU can't do it, but I can.
 : )
